A new poll of shows that almost 60% of US doctors support Universal Health Coverage.

What's that, you say, what about the efficient & free market system the United States has? Check out this graph, it compares per-capita life expectancy with per-capita health care spending.

The United States has one of the least efficient health care systems of any modern world country. The fact that there are still people in the US who support maintaining the status quo of US health care is a travesty. To argue that American health care is efficient because it operates within a 'free market' is just not true. It is an embarrassing system when you look at how many people it excludes in comparison with how much it costs to maintain.

If 60% of American doctors understand this, what the hell is wrong with the average person who doesn't? If you are paying the most money for the lowest overall return, you are getting screwed. If you still need more convincing, I highly recommend you check this out.
