Lake Placid

Below are the pictures from the great trip Melissa and I took recently. We visited Lake Placid, in upstate New York. It was about a four hour drive from Syracuse.

While there we had amazing food, explored a mountain top, canoed a lake, and generally relaxed. We also saw My Life on the D List, a show on Bravo starring Kathy Griffin that we had never seen before. Maybe its the four years of going without cable television, but we were both transfixed by it, and watched it every night.

Another highlight of the trip was when I kept threatening Melissa that I was going to really loudly cough on the mountain top to get everyone's attention, then throw all of our sandwich wrappers and my Peach Snapple off the side of the mountain really casually. She didn't think it was as funny as I did.

A few things to note; the slightly blurry pictures were taken with my iPhone, thats why they are a tad less clear than others. The scary looking shacks you see are groups of motel / cabins that litter the road inside the Adirondacks State Park. They all looked like places you would get stabbed if you stayed there.

As you can see, a random picture of Pac-Man got included in the mix. Unfortunately, I am worried that if I try to delete the code for the picture I will end up chopping out other pictures and the whole thing will snowball into an hour long ordeal of uploading all the pictures again. Hence, you get a lil' Pac-Man with your Lake Placid viewing pleasure.
