Kimbo Slice is a Fraud

Kimbo Slice is a street fighter who rose to fame via YouTube videos of his insane backyard fights in Florida. Elite XC is a company that markets and hosts MMA fights, they signed Kimbo as their number one heavy-weight fighter. They had been positioning Kimbo as a rising star in the fighting world, a legitimate MMA heavyweight, etc. There is only one problem... he is a complete fraud.

In Kimbo's first two official and sanctioned fights, he fought low skill fighters. Not only that, but the second fight probably should have been called in favor of the other guy, but was questionably reffed.

Last night Kimbo was supposed to fight a legit heavyweight MMA fighter for the first time, but conveniently, the heavyweight was injured in practice, and to replace him they asked one of the undercard fighters to fight Kimbo. Seth Petruzelli weighs 30 pounds less than Kimbo, but is also the former American Karate champion. As you can see from the video, Petruzelli knocks the living crap out of Kimbo in less than 15 seconds. This could possibly lead to the bankruptcy of Elite XC, which has mountains of debt.

Kimbo was their main attraction, but last night was exposed as a sham who can't even stand up to a lower weight-class, albeit legitimate fighter, for more than 15 seconds. The fight was hilarious. The bell rang, Kimbo charged the guy, the karate guy jabbed Kimbo in the jaw, knocking him down, and proceeded to smash Kimbo's face in for about ten seconds until the ref had no choice but to call it. My favorite part of the fight was watching Kimbo's possey as they gasped in disbelief, as some dude with pink highlights in his hair casually walked into the ring and within mere seconds was on the verge of beating Kimbo to death. It was awesome!
