C.O.P.S. -- The Most Accurate Show on TV

I was robbed at gunpoint today.

100 ft away from the door to my apartment building at 7:30am, a gold Dodge sedan slammed on it's brakes as I walked towards my bus heading to school. A teenager hopped out, ran up to me, and through his sweatshirt pointed what appeared to be a gun at my stomach... Luckily he was stupid enough to rob me of the least expensive thing in my hands, my Sony PSP player. Luckily he didn't ask for my backpack which included my laptop, $500 worth of textbooks, my wallet and keys.

Both teenagers were small, but when I saw what looked like a gun, I decided the rational thing to do was just hand over my PSP, and calmly pull a notepad and pen from my backpack and write down their license plate number. I called 911, and a minute later was in a cruiser telling my story. Then, out of nowhere, I was transported into an awesome 1980s police movie, as over the radio I heard that the two teens had just been involved in a hit and run and were speeding away. The female officer looked at me and said: "Let's roll!" All I could do was reply: "umm, ok..." and close my door. We began speeding down the road, full sirens, at 90mph. We entered a ghetto neighborhood where 20 other police cars were speeding around, performing awesome 180 spins, and cops were unleashing their attack dogs onto the streets to hunt the kids down. Then we drove past the smashed car the kids were driving, they had crashed it into a street sign and had left on foot. A minute later they were in custody, I identified both on the spot, and was taken to the police station where I filled out reports, and was then dropped off at the front door to the law building.

Overall, my decision to transfer schools has been finalized.
