It should actually be called "restaurant weeks" because it goes from January 25th to February 7th. Jim and I are trying two restaurants, Perry St. an American/French fusion restaurant and Kittichai, a Thai restaurant. Every restaurant week participant offers a $35 three course dinner. It is a great way to sample food from places a little out of our price range.
We ate at Perry St. last Friday. Everything was delicious especially the chocolate lava cake dessert! The restaurant is located right on the water and overlooks the bright lights of NJ. All Jim and I could talk about was how happy we are about our decision to NOT live in New Jersey.
Our reservation at Kittichai is not until Wednesday, but my mouth is watering already :).
