Graduation!
It's official, Sunday Jim received his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University. After 3 long years he has finally finished. Now he has an entire week off until he starts his 10hr a day summer long Bar prep program. It is going to be a long summer.
The law school graduates a week later than the rest of campus so they have their own separate commencement ceremony. His class had just under 230 graduates. The speaker was the deputy mayor of Philadelphia, not near as exciting as SU Law alum Joe Biden, but he was a great speaker. It was great to see Jim walk across the stage and be "hooded" by one of his professors.
Congratulations Jim!!! And thank you to everyone who supported him!!!

So exciting! We wish we could have been there!
i started to cry when dad sent me the picture from his iphone of you being hooded! it is just such a remarkable acomplishment! I can't give you enough props!!!! I'm so sad i couldn't come, the pictures make me feel like i was there kind of! so what professor "hooded" you up....and what does that mean exactly?
