On Tuesday afternoon I bought Halo 3, the crack-cocaine of video games. The game is amazing, and last night Microsoft announced the launch day sales numbers were upwards of 170 million dollars. That means Halo 3 is officially the highest revenue electronic-entertainment event in the history of the world, bigger than any movie.
Unfortunately I don't live in Japan, because if I did I would be able to look at signs like this at my local game stores. I don't know why an anthropomorthic city bus is directing me to purchase Halo 3, but as in all things Japanese, it's cute as hell.

They should make a line of that city bus at Sanrio alongside Hello Kitty and Keroppi. Maybe they would start getting the 27 year old male gamer demographic.
That game looks cool, I played Halo 2 6 months ago, got killed 8 times in a minute, started crying and have never played any games since.
